Hands-on knowledge earned at the press — running equipment, conducting press checks, and making real-time calls on colour, registration, and stock. That floor-level experience means every file I design is built around how it will actually print, not just how it looks on screen.

With decades of advanced expertise in Adobe Photoshop, a master of colour, composition, lighting, photography, and the ability to execute highly complex image enhancements and alterations while maintaining realistic, commercially viable results.

Manually pushing pixels for the high-end retouching, colour correction, image manipulation, and digital enhancement of photography and artwork, primarily within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) category. Working closely with Studio Managers, Design Leads and Production Artists, transforming source photography and creative assets into polished, production-ready imagery that meets exacting creative, technical, and brand standards, from fairly simple to unbelievable!

My imaging experience was hands-on back in the day using paste-up techniques and Letraset to build artwork for print, I learned screen printing at 16 and the first versions of Photoshop, Quark and Freehand, Corel Draw & Pagemaker. I miss that physical craft we now trade for keyboards, but am so grateful to have that original artistry experience and respect for the true craft.

From PA through the digital press in-line with pouch conversion equipment, I produced and shot this image in the small studio I built on-site in the boardroom.
